NATIONAL CONFERENCE HELD AT SIT TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 21st November, 2015: A National Conference on latest ‘Trends in Management, Economics & Social’ was organized by the Department of Business Administration, Siliguri Institute of Technology, today at SIT Campus. In this symposium, apart from industrial personnel like CFO of Hyundai, CA Shoumya Hor; Prof. Mahalaya Chatterjee, Director, Centre for Urban Economic Studies, University of Calcutta; Prof.A.K.Das Mohapatra; Professor & Head, Department of Business Administration & Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Mangement, Sambalpur University, Odisha and various other academicians was present, who shared their valuable thoughts on the most up-to-date inclination of Management with the research scholars and students. Around 50 research papers were presented on stage and through posters by the esteemed authors and research scholars from India, Iran, Bangladesh, Ethiopia and across the Globe. The main objective of the conference was to provide a forum to discuss different issues and challenges related to functional areas of management and to provide feasible solutions to resolve problems.
